Middle School Saga.

I hated middle school. My little sister is going into 6^th grade and it's my duty to share some words of encouragement with her about the middle school years. How can I be encouraging when I know she’s walking into the worst 3 years of her life? 

Answer: lie to her. I mean, middle school wasn't all that bad was it? (yes, yes it was)

How I feel about my journalism teacher.
She's crazy. Just take my word on that. 

I’m cheating on journalism with yearbook. It’s pretty much an unforgivable sin to take yearbook and journalism at the same time, according to my journalism teacher. And I’ve been made Co-Editor of the yearbook. AND I like it better. TAKE THAT. I’m never going to tell her, but she’ll find out. That’s how reporters are. 

Closet Wedding Planner

I look at the wedding stuff on Pinterest sometimes. Ok, a lot. And I make mental notes, like “oh, look at the way she incorporated spider man onto the groom’s cake.” I don’t actually pin the stuff though. Then people might get judgmental. I “like” it, so that I can find it again if I need it, but hardly anyone sees. It’s perfect.

So I'm owning some of the stuff that my Pinterest-based day dreams are made of. Enjoy.

The Adulterous Blogger

Confession. I have another blog and I hate it. I got into blogging because I was told that it would be just like your own diary. That's a lie. Once your friends start following you, that's it. You can't post what you actually think without risk of being the newest piece of gossip around the lockers. So, I'm starting fresh and I'm not telling anybody. This new blog is strictly for my confessions. Owning my own opinions. Publishing what I wouldn't say out loud to an infinite audience of anonymous readers. What could go wrong?
